Venues at Lipscomb University

The Arena Manager’s Office is responsible for scheduling events for the the Ezell Center, Ward Hall, Allen Arena, Hall of Fame Room, Shamblin Theatre and Collins Alumni Auditorium. High quality catering is also available courtesy of SODEXHO, with offices located conveniently on the Lipscomb University campus.
Ezell Center: The Ezell Center boasts 21 classrooms, television and radio studios, a missions center to serve the hundreds of people who attend Lipscomb-coordinated mission trips each year, a chapel with an impressive stained glass window and a collaborative learning space with portable tables, chairs, whiteboards and walls.
Ward Hall: The $200,000 renovation this summer, has transformed Ward, originally constructed as a lecture hall in 1966, into a performance hall, with more stage area, a green room for performers and better lighting on the stage. The renovated Ward Hall, which seats 250, is home to the Artist Series’ 2007-08 season and will host events for local music teachers and their students.
Allen Arena: This venue is used by the University for daily Chapel and Bible classes, basketball, and volleyball. It is available to rent for concerts, lectures, and dinners, and tradeshows. The Allen Arena has a capacity of 5028 for basketball games; 800 - 1000 for a seated dinner on the arena floor; and 3900 for a concert.
Hall of Fame Room: The Hall of Fame Room, located in the Allen Arena, is a 1,435 square-foot meeting room overlooking the Arena Bowl. This room is used for catered meals, meetings, retreats, and other events. The capacity at round tables for a seated meal is 90.
Willard Collins Alumni Auditorium: The Alumni Auditorium is used for lectures and concerts. The seating capacity is 1300.
Please be advised that Alumni Auditorium is currently CLOSED for renovation until Spring of 2008.
